Organization

Nova Terra isn’t a membership organization. There are no dues, no cards, no ranks. There’s work to do, and people doing it.

The organizing side of Nova Terra focuses on food and shelter for the needy, community service, volunteer work, skill sharing, and several other community based projects. Everything is voluntary. People contribute what they can, when they can.

Decisions belong to the people doing the work. When there’s something to decide, the people involved decide it together by discussion and consensus where possible, and nobody holds authority they weren’t given and can’t be relieved of.

Money is transparent. If and when the project handles funds, every cent in and out gets accounted for publicly

Conflict gets addressed, not buried. Disagreement is normal in any real group. We deal with it directly and in good faith, and we don’t let it fester into faction.
