Nova Terra is a Kentucky based publishing and organizing project. It puts out writing on anarchism and self-organization and works to put those ideas into practice through mutual aid and open meetings, starting locally.
Points of Unity
- Solidarity, not charity. We meet each other’s needs as equals, not as givers and receivers. Everyone has something to contribute and everyone is worth showing up for.
- No rulers. We organize horizontally. Decisions are made by the people they affect, through open meetings and consensus — not handed down by leaders, parties, or professionals.
- Direct action. We don’t petition power to solve our problems; we build the capacity to solve them ourselves, where we live.
- Free association. Participation is voluntary. People join, contribute, and leave freely. No dues, no ideology test — agreement with these points is enough.
- Against all domination. We oppose exploitation and oppression in every form — of class, race, gender, and beyond — including inside our own project. We hold each other accountable to this.
- Local first, connected always. Our work is rooted here, in this place, among these neighbors — and stands in solidarity with autonomous projects everywhere.
- Everything we make is free. Our texts, our methods, our work: anti-copyright, free to copy, reprint, and use. Ideas belong to whoever needs them.
